Gastronomy offers more and more often the pleasure of the pupils in addition to the pleasure of the taste buds. And that has spilled outside the dish.

Since its opening in 2004, the Club Chasse et Pêche, rue Saint-Claude, has adorned the walls of its rooms with creations of Nicolas Baier. From the same family, Le Filet restaurant, Avenue du Mont-Royal West, exhibits Anemone by Geneviève Cadieux. Café Birks, by Jérôme Ferrer and Francis Reddy, is surrounded by luxury jewelry and exceptional glassworks.

Drawing on these inspirations, the Café des Beaux-Arts, located on the 2nd floor of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, has recently drawn into the museum's reserves: now you can sit close to a creation of Pablo Picasso or an abstraction of Paul-Émile Borduas.
